Success in this role involves managing assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely, and accurately fill prescriptions, while providing excellent customer service. The position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and demonstrate genuine care for patients and customers. New Pharmacy Technicians must complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties will be restricted until these requirements are met, after which there are opportunities to build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge and expertise.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Valid state pharmacy technician or technician trainee license. If not yet licensed, must be able to provide proof of application
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- PTCB National Certification
