Pharmacy Technician – Per Diem – Inpatient
About The Position
Work Schedule : Per Diem. Minimum 16 hours per week. Mix of Day and Evening Shifts. Weekend and Holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We’re seeking individuals who are energized by helping care for patients through diligent picking, preparation, and delivery of medications throughout University Hospital and American Family Children’s Hospital. The ideal person will be: Team-motivated, have a high attention to detail, and be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Confidence in your mathematical skills is a must! Previous inpatient pharmacy experience is preferred but not required. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required
Nice To Haves
- Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred
- 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician or completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program Preferred
- Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred
