About The Position

PharmcareUSA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Hartsville, SC!! Pay is commensurate with experience in LTC Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance, FSA/ HSA, Paid time off and Holidays for full time employees. The Pharmacy Technician must be certified in those states where a certification is required, and may be certified in states that do not require certification. The Technician will assist the pharmacist in providing safe and appropriate pharmacy services to PharmcareUSA clients in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Company, current pharmacy practice standards and other regulatory entities. Reports to Lead Pharmacy Tech and/or Director of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

Assist Pharmacist with input (when appropriate), filling and dispensing of all prescriptions
Perform all filling and / or IV compounding of prescriptions with accuracy and reasonable speed
Fill prescriptions per rules and regulations of all regulatory entities
Answer telephone calls, assist caller when appropriate, or enlist Pharmacist to assist if appropriate
Prepare medications to be delivered to facility per delivery schedule
Assist any walk-in customers or direct to appropriate department
Assist with ordering of medications from wholesaler along with proper inventory management
Assist with Medication Returns and E-Kit management
Maintain Pharmacy Technician License/Certification
Will comply with all Corporate Initiatives and utilize provided tools/resources as appropriate
Other duties as assigned
