Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for ensuring all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for patients, demonstrating ethical conduct, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Success in this role involves managing assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions while providing caring service that exceeds customer expectations. The role is suitable for both new and experienced Pharmacy Technicians who enjoy fast-paced environments and demonstrating compassionate care. New Pharmacy Technicians are required to complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to their State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines. Upon meeting these requirements, there are opportunities to build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge and expertise.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
