About The Position

At CVS Health, Pharmacy Technicians are crucial in delivering compassionate care, increasing patient access, lowering costs, and improving care quality. They advise patients on prescriptions, help manage chronic/specialty conditions, and ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met while maintaining patient confidentiality. The role involves managing pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely, and accurately fill prescriptions, providing caring service. New technicians must complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy state-specific registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Upon completion, they can expand their duties and build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
