About The Position
Seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work full time, 40 hours/week. Primarily the hours are day shift with some evening and weekend rotation. The Pharmacy Technician assists the Pharmacists in the routine duties throughout the department to provide pharmacy services to patients spanning all age groups and cultures. Must work in presence of a Pharmacist.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 months of hospital experience preferred
- Excellent verbal/written skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medications.
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- High school diploma.
- Certification license by the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy.
- National Certification (CPhT or ExCPT) required
- Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.
- Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
