Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for ensuring all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met, maintaining patient confidentiality, and managing pharmacy workstations to promptly, safely, and accurately fill prescriptions while providing excellent customer service. New Pharmacy Technicians must complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all state-specific registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Upon completion, they can expand their duties and continue to develop their clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge. This position may require COVID-19 vaccination, subject to legal allowances and approved accommodations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Licensure requirements vary by state

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• PTCB National Certification
