Pharmacy Technician – Vance Air Force Base Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the medical mission at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, OK. Monday-Friday | PTO & Sick Time | Federal Holidays off | Medical, dental, vision, 401k Why You’ll Love This Opportunity Work in a federal healthcare setting with strong clinical standards Be part of a collaborative, mission-driven pharmacy team Enjoy a predictable schedule in an outpatient environment Experience a lower cost of living and small-town charm in Enid, OK Support military readiness and community health What You’ll Do As a Pharmacy Technician at Vance AFB, you will: Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures Prepare and dispense outpatient prescriptions, including refills and order entry Support pharmacists with medication processing, patient requests, and provider inquiries Monitor for potential drug interactions and report adverse drug reactions Participate in quality improvement activities, including inspections, error reporting, and workload documentation Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking medications and supplies Collaborate with healthcare staff to support patient care and treatment compliance Participate in peer review activities, case conferences, or research initiatives as required by the medical treatment facility What You’ll Need Education: Graduate of a formal pharmacy technician program accredited by ASHP, a recognized pharmacy technician program (technical, hospital, or retail), or a formal U.S. Military medical services training program Certification: Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification Experience: Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience after graduation Must practice within the scope of certification and applicable regulations Why Enid, OK? Requirements

  • Graduate of a formal pharmacy technician program accredited by ASHP, a recognized pharmacy technician program (technical, hospital, or retail), or a formal U.S. Military medical services training program
