About The Position
Performs all typical duties of a retail. mail order, specialty pharmacy staff technician as defined by the Montana Board of Pharmacy and local pharmacy drug outlet procedures. Fills physician orders for patient medications under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision. Communicate with and service the needs of the Pharmacy clientele. Has advanced knowledge and skills in one or more specialty areas in the pharmacy. Requirements
- Upon hire: Montana Pharmacy Technician License
- Upon hire: Montana Pharmacy Technician Temporary Practice Permit
- Upon hire: Montana Pharmacy Technician Provisional License
- 1 year Experience (2080 hours) of pharmacy practice
- 1 year Customer Service
- For internal promotion candidate must be competent in all responsibilities of an Associate Pharmacy Technician: (external candidates are required to have the equivalent experience)
