About The Position
A Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to prepare medications, manage medication inventory, and support the delivery of pharmaceutical services to patients in a hospital setting. This role involves assisting with medication preparation, sterile and non-sterile compounding, maintaining accurate medication records, maintaining medication inventory, stocking medications, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College courses are desirable but not required.
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification and Montana licensure or obtain a certified pharmacy technician provisional license through the Board of Pharmacy.
- PTCB certification is required within 1 year of obtaining provisional license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
