Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with accurate data-entry and typing skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and reliability.
Strong organizational and basic math skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail or community pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Retrieve, count, and prepare medications according to prescription orders.
Enter patient, prescriber, and prescription information accurately into the dispensing system.
Create prescription labels and process insurance claims.
Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and organizing prescription inventory.
Maintain accurate records and complete all required pharmacy paperwork.
Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to patients and promote pharmacy programs.
Prioritize workflow to support timely prescription filling and excellent patient care.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional pharmacy environment.
Always protect and maintain patient confidentiality.
Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, pharmacists, and team members.
