About The Position
Join the Coborn Cancer Center Infusion Pharmacy Team! Our Pharmacy Techs assist with a variety of tasks to support patients and staff. Prior Infusion Pharmacy experience is not required. This is a great opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician who is looking to learn and grow in a new area of expertise. We will train you how to safely handle and prepare medications for patients in our cancer center. Our Pharmacy Technicians work under the supervision and with the support of a registered Pharmacist. Our pharmacy technicians are career pharmacy technicians, or they become a pharmacy technician as a steppingstone to other healthcare careers. Schedule: Casual | Average of 4-8 hours per two weeks 8-hour shifts, shifts between 6:45am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday and Friday 6:45am-4:30pm Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $18.11 per hour and increases with experience Pay range: $17.28 - $25.89 per hour Certified Pharmacy Tech starting pay begins at $20.34 per hour and increases with experience Pay range: $19.42 - $29.14 per hour $2,000 hiring bonus for full-time or part-time position PTO accrual
Requirements
- Registration as a pharmacy technician with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience is preferred
Nice To Haves
- Pharmacy Technician Certification with Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred
