Pharmacy Technicians ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance are met, demonstrating ethical conduct and patient confidentiality. Success in this role involves managing pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely, and accurately fill prescriptions, while providing excellent customer service. New Pharmacy Technicians must complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all state-specific registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties will be restricted initially until all requirements are met, after which there are opportunities to build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge. The position is part-time, with anticipated weekly hours of 25.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Licensure requirements vary by state
  • Must be available to work weekdays between 8AM- 9 PM and some weekends
  • The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted (Attention and Focus)

  • Choosing the best course of action when faced with a complex situation with several available options (Problem Resolution)
  • Daily Availability from 9AM-9PM plus weekends REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • High School diploma or equivalent
