About The Position
Blue United Sourcing is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a hospital-based contract opportunity in Torrance, CA. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends and the potential for extension beyond the initial 13-week contract.
Requirements
- Previous hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Knowledge of medication safety practices and pharmacy workflows
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution
- Accurately package, label, and dispense medications in accordance with hospital protocols
- Maintain medication inventory and restock automated dispensing systems
- Follow all hospital, state, and federal regulations and safety standards
- Support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced hospital environment
