How you’ll make an impact in this role Perform activities or tasks in specialty pharmacy services. Perform specialized areas as medicine history, buyer and other inventory related areas, nuclear, and PAP as a pharmacy technician. Refill and maintain automated dispensing system. Prepare orders and maintains inventory for the specialty pharmacy areas. Repackage bulk medications. Receive and store incoming supplies. Serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing necessary information.

Requirements

  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred.

Responsibilities
