Within Retail locations, Pharmacy Technicians (Technicians) are crucial in supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. As a Technician, you will assist the pharmacy team in ensuring smooth operations, prompt, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment, and providing caring service that exceeds patient expectations. Technicians act as the first point of contact for patients and customers, operating through consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and effective communication. They are expected to demonstrate genuine care and contribute to a safe and inclusive culture. Once in the role, Technicians must complete a rigorous company training program and meet all state-specific registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until all requirements are met. The role also involves supporting immunizations where permissible, including completing additional licensure and training, educating patients, monitoring adverse reactions, reviewing patient information, and managing vaccine supplies.
