About The Position

Medivant Healthcare is a U.S.-based pharmaceutical manufacturer dedicated to producing high-quality, sterile injectable medications for hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities nationwide. Operating from state-of-the-art, FDA-inspected facilities in Chandler and Deer Valley, Arizona, Medivant is committed to excellence, compliance, and innovation in every aspect of sterile manufacturing. The Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee will support the preparation, labeling, and packaging of sterile injectable products in accordance with FDA regulations, cGMP requirements, and USP <797>/<800> standards. This role works under the supervision of licensed pharmacists and production management to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient preparation of medications. Freshers and candidates with no prior compounding experience will receive comprehensive training.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Willingness to learn sterile compounding, aseptic technique, and cleanroom protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
  • Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License (or eligibility to obtain).
  • 6 months–1 year of experience in a pharmacy, compounding lab, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with aseptic technique and cGMP documentation practices.

Nice To Haves

  • National PTCB certification (CPhT).
  • Experience in sterile injectable manufacturing, hospital cleanrooms, or 503B outsourcing facilities.
  • Working knowledge of USP <797> and <800> requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and aseptic compounding of sterile injectable medications following cGMP and USP <797>/<800> guidelines (training provided for trainees/freshers).
  • Maintain cleanroom compliance, including proper gowning, sanitization, environmental monitoring, and adherence to aseptic behavior.
  • Accurately label, package, and document finished products in accordance with batch records and SOPs.
  • Support equipment cleaning, basic maintenance, and calibration activities as required.
  • Participate in visual inspection, lot reconciliation, and inventory management tasks.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and all documentation requirements.
  • Assist pharmacists and supervisors in workflow efficiency, process improvement, and quality initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, DEA, USP, and internal quality standards at all times.
