Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for meeting all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards for patients, demonstrating ethical conduct, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Success in this role requires managing assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions while providing excellent customer service. The position is suitable for both new and experienced Pharmacy Technicians. New technicians are required to complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all state-specific registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties will be restricted until these requirements are met, after which there are opportunities to build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge. This position may require full vaccination against COVID-19, including booster shots if required, unless a reasonable accommodation is approved.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
