Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for meeting medication needs, adhering to regulatory standards, demonstrating ethical conduct, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Success in this position involves managing pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely, and accurately fill prescriptions while delivering exceptional customer service. New Pharmacy Technicians must complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and fulfill all state-specific registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Initial duties will be restricted until these requirements are met, after which there are opportunities to expand clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge. This position may require full COVID-19 vaccination, including boosters, depending on the role and location, unless a reasonable accommodation is approved.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age
