About The Position

Certified Pharmacy Technician - Full Time - Healthcare for the Homeless Pharmacy VytlOne (Formerly Maxor National Pharmacy Services) is conducting a search for a dedicated, compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our amazing team at Healthcare for the Homeless Pharmacy in Houston. Healthcare for the Homeless Pharmacy is one of VytlOne's network of managed pharmacies across the entire US. This is your chance to work in a clinic-based pharmacy that prioritizes a team-based approach, collaborating closely with providers and clinic staff, to ensure optimal care for patients. Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED required
  • TX Pharmacy Technician license
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail pharmacy
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification from PTCB or NHA required

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently

Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in providing accurate, timely, appropriate, and compliant pharmacy services as per local/federal regulations and company policies and procedures
  • Greet customers and take prescription orders
  • Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
  • Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
  • Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
  • Answer the phone
  • Input customer information into the computer system
  • Other job duties as assigned
