About The Position
Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assists with inventory maintenance, medication preparation, sterile IV compounding including chemotherapy, physical inspection, and recordkeeping. Supports operations across hospital departments by serving as an expert in drug preparation and inventory.
Requirements
- One year related pharmacy experience
- HS diploma or equivalency required
- Active pharmacy technician certification from ASHP, PTCB, or other nationally recognized certifying organization.
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience preferred
- Sterile compounding experience preferred, but willing to accept on the job training
