Position Overview Assists with operational and distribution responsibilities related to Pharmacy Technician functions, including Orlando Health software and hardware systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must maintain current Pharmacy Technician registration with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy
• No experience required, up to one (1) year of experience as a pharmacy technician

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of safety, emergency, and risk management procedures.
• Understands the hospital mission, personnel policies, philosophy, goals, customer service standards, and objectives of Pharmacy and Orlando Health.
• Maintains familiarity with general duties and processes of the Pharmacy department.
• Identifies and utilizes resource persons and departments for customer service and patient care based on need, availability, and responsibility.
• Operates pharmacy equipment in accordance with operating instructions, safety regulations, and policies.
