Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Active Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical concepts, medical terminology, and insurance payor requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with a patient-first mindset
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
  • Flexibility to travel to satellite locations as needed

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, providers, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical partners
  • Process medication refill requests and prior authorizations accurately through the EMR
  • Assist patients with enrollment in pharmaceutical assistance programs
  • Track, monitor, and manage on-site medication samples
  • Build strong working relationships with pharmaceutical representatives
  • Respond to pharmacy inquiries regarding prescriptions, refills, and medication interactions
  • Handle patient calls related to medication questions, concerns, and provider messages
  • Support physicians and office managers with administrative tasks as needed
