Success in this role involves managing pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely, and accurately fill prescriptions while providing excellent customer service. New Pharmacy Technicians must complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and fulfill all state-specific registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Initial duties will be restricted until these requirements are met, after which there are opportunities to expand clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge. This position may require full vaccination against COVID-19, including booster shots, unless a reasonable accommodation is approved.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Licensure requirements vary by state

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • PTCB National Certification
  • High School diploma or equivalent
