Curant Health is searching for a PRN Pharmacy Technician to join its team in Wichita, KS. Requirements

  • Must be currently registered in the state of Kansas a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Must have a High School Diploma.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Able to transcribe information and data accurately.
  • 2 years relevant work experience in a pharmacy preferred.
  • Experience handing pharmacy insurance rejections and billing preferred.
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately fills prescriptions by retrieving prescription orders; counting, pouring, measuring or weighing medication tablets, liquids, and creams; mixing or reconstituting medications as needed; selecting, filling, and labeling prescription containers; and operating scanning equipment and/or automated dispensing systems to ensure prescription accuracy
  • Accurately input necessary data to keep patient records up to date.
  • Analyze and review data for completeness and accuracy of documentation according to specified standards
