The Dispensary has collected and distributed tens of millions of dollar’s worth of pharmaceuticals and filled more than 200,000 prescriptions for patients who otherwise couldn’t afford them. The Hope Dispensary of Greater Bridgeport is dedicated to serving low income and uninsured individuals in the Bridgeport Community Pharmacy Technicians assist Pharmacists the Dispensary of Hope.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification is strongly preferred
• Pharmacy registration with Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection within 30 days of hire and by March 31st of each year.

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree in Pharmacy Technician program in preferred
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred

Responsibilities

• Processing and filling prescriptions accurately
• Assisting the customers of the Community Pharmacy
• Working with our specialty pharmacy liaisons to ensure the needs of our specialty patients are met.
