Requirements

  • Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Pharmacy Intern obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

  • Minimum 1 Year of Recent Experience in a Full-Time Retail Pharmacy Tech Position

Responsibilities

  • Support the clinical team by providing essential technical and distributive pharmacy services that maintain workflow and patient care.
  • Ensure the safe and accurate preparation of medication orders and the continuous operation of automated dispensing systems.
  • Manage all pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and secure storage, to guarantee resource availability.
  • Serve as a primary communication link between the pharmacy, patients, and healthcare professionals to facilitate clear and necessary information exchange.
