Under general supervision, performs nonprofessional work assisting the pharmacist in routine duties of the pharmacy. Performs some professional work under direct supervision of a pharmacist. Performs related work as required. Ensures all actions taken in carrying out responsibilities support patient centered care.

Requirements

Within 1st year of hire, will obtain: National certification by the Iowa Board of Pharmacy.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification through either the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National HealthCareer Association (NHA).

Nice To Haves

One year of non-professional pharmacy experience
Highschool diploma or GED

Responsibilities
