Connecting. Growing together. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support the on-site pharmacist in preparing prescription orders, packaging medications, and maintaining pharmacy standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician licensure in North Carolina
Nice To Haves
- PTCB certification
- 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience
Responsibilities
- Assist Pharmacist In Charge with compliance duties
- Prepare "pre-pack" blister cards for pharmacy using MTS Machines or hand packing
- Use MTS and Parata Machines to prepare high volume of production daily
- Following a schedule, inventory, track, and order appropriate medications to be packed
- Complete a daily cleaning schedule to ensure proper functionality of the machines
- Identify quality related errors and correct as necessary
- Work as a team to meet goals and metrics
- Stock supplies and return bottles to the correct location
