Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and medication handling.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and staff.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with pharmacy management software.
Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to patients during prescription drop-off and pickup.
Enter and process prescription orders accurately into the computer system, consulting with the pharmacist as needed.
Retrieve, count, and prepare medication orders to support pharmacist workflows.
Create and update patient profiles, including health and insurance information, within the pharmacy management system.
Respond effectively to patient inquiries and assist with general pharmacy-related questions.
Maintain pharmacy cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards.
Support inventory management, including stock replenishment and expiration date checks.
Assist in administrative tasks related to pharmacy operations as directed.
