Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Pharmacy Technician required.
• Licensed by AZ Board of Pharmacy required.
• Valid pharmacy technician license or registration as required by state regulations.
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and medication handling.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with pharmacy management software.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety procedures.

• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients during prescription drop-off and pickup.
• Enter and process prescription orders accurately into the computer system, consulting with the pharmacist as needed.
• Retrieve, count, and prepare medication orders to support pharmacist workflows.
• Create and update patient profiles, including health and insurance information, within the computer system.
• Respond effectively to patient inquiries and assist with medication-related questions.
• Support pharmacy inventory management and ensure proper storage of medications.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in pharmacy operations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to facilitate seamless patient care.
