About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Assists the inpatient pharmacy department staff in
accomplishing the goals of efficiently dispensing medications through
preparation of bulk and batch sterile products ( IV solutions); providing drugs
and supplies to nursing stations and all associated functions that are entailed
in that process, and producing accurate patient charges.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must maintain current registration with the NM Board of Pharmacy
• Effective verbal and interpersonal skills are required
• Basic computer skills are required

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with medical terminology, basic math and reading comprehension skills are preferred.
• Hospital experience is preferred.
