About The Position

This role involves working in a leading retail pharmacy, maintaining high professional and ethical standards, and ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations. Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for meeting medication needs, adhering to regulatory standards, demonstrating ethical conduct, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Success in this role requires managing assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely, and accurately fill prescriptions while providing excellent customer service. The position is suitable for both new and experienced Pharmacy Technicians. New technicians are required to complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all state-specific registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Upon completion, there are opportunities to build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge.

Requirements

Comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age (must be at least 18 years old), education, and licensure/certification
If not currently licensed with the state board as a Pharmacy Technician, candidate must get licensed with the board within 90 days of hire
The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted (Attention and Focus)

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
