About The Position
Our pharmacies are open Monday through Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm (no weekends, nights, or major holidays) Locations available: Knoxville, TN, In-Person Who we are: River Valley health is a comprehensive Federally Qualified Health Center caring for over 70,000 patients across 13 counties in Tennessee. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must hold a current Certified Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT).
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify prescriptions from patients or healthcare providers.
- Prepare medications by measuring, counting, labeling, and packing prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
- Assist in processing insurance claims and resolving insurance-related issues.
