Requirements

Associate degree in Pharmaceutical Technology (bachelor’s degree preferred)
Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
4+ years of customer service experience required.
Must possess valid state of California certification.
Exemplary verbal communication and customer service skills
Comfortable working in fast-paced environment.
Ability to use computer for day to day tasks
Basic Math Skills

Responsibilities

Assist the Pharmacist with prescription management and communicating with providers about patient medications.
Communicate with patient over the phone and onsite to address customer service issues and field questions about medications.
Responsible for confirming patient information on prescription labels before disbursing medication.
Enter and maintain prescription data using our computer system
Answer incoming phone calls and field patients’ questions
Contract providers to clarify prescription information
Disburse completed and confirmed prescriptions to patients
Answer patient’s questions and address customer service issues when they arise
Assist the pharmacist with maintaining the ongoing medication inventory and place medication orders when instructed.
