Success in this role involves managing pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely, and accurately fill prescriptions, all while delivering exceptional customer service. The position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and genuinely care for patients and customers. New Pharmacy Technicians must complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and fulfill all state-specific registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties will initially be restricted until these requirements are met, after which there are opportunities to expand clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge to further a pharmacy career. This position may require full COVID-19 vaccination, including boosters, unless a reasonable accommodation is approved.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age

  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs; exerting up to 30 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
  • May require full vaccination against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, pregnancy, or religious belief that prevents them from being vaccinated

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • PTCB National Certification

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate care to patients daily

  • Complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program
  • Satisfy all registration, licensing and certification requirements according to your State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines
  • Build clinical, technical and insurance knowledge and expertise by leveraging available tools and training
