About The Position
Saint Joseph's Medical Center is looking for a part-time Pharmacy Technician for Sundays and Weekday Evenings. This role will provide support to all aspects of patient care and medication management as it relates to pharmacy services at SJMC.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board(PTCB) or National Healthcare Association(NHA), or within the first 6 months of hire
- NYS Pharmacy Technician License - within 6 months of certification or from hire date if already obtained certification
Nice To Haves
- Pharmacy Technician (hospital or retail) experience preferred
Responsibilities
- stocking and delivery of medications
- unit inspections
- responsibilities relating to regulatory compliance
