Quality Health Pharmacy (QHP) a division of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, began Pharmacy Services out of our Texas Center in 1992, and due to the needs of our more than 15 centers across the nation, we have expanded our pharmacy program. Devereux’s Pharmacy Office, which, located at 5850 TG Lee Blvd., in Orlando, Florida, is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team. Under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with the team, internally and externally, to deliver excellent pharmacy service focusing on accuracy and customer service. Salary range for the position is $19.00 to $21.66/hour, based on experience. Our ideal candidate is a great collaborator, self-starter and can successfully prioritize competing requests in a fast-paced environment. In this role you will:

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of three (3) years previous hospital, long-term care or retail pharmacy experience preferred
  • Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office products; QS1 pharmacy software experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills and team player with the ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Multi-tasker with ability to meet deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license and car is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Pharmacy PTCB preferred
  • QS1 pharmacy software experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Fill and bill for pharmaceutical supplies to all units of pharmacy under supervision of pharmacist
  • Assist with inventory control including receiving and stocking of pharmacy supplies
  • Complete and submit pharmacy related and required documents and paperwork, e.g., prescription records, reports, monthly medication charge and usage reports
  • Deliver pharmaceutical supplies according to established pharmacy procedures
  • Other duties as assigned.
