About The Position

Certified Pharmacy Technician - Full Time - NO WEEKENDS! - East Liberty Family Health Care Center Pharmacy --- Hours of Operation: M-F 9am-5:30pm, Closed for lunch 12:45pm-1:15pm NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS Pay Rate: $21.00-$22.00/hour DOE Exciting growth at VytlOne (formerly Maxor National Pharmacy Services) has created a new opportunity for a Full Time Certified Pharmacy Technician . In this role, the Pharmacy Technician will provide compassionate customer service at East Liberty Family Health Care Center Pharmacy, a clinic-based retail pharmacy located in Pittsburgh. In this integrated model, the pharmacy team will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Current PTCB Certification, or ability to obtain your certification within 6 months (VytlOne will assist)
  • A minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience
  • Proven track record of exemplary customer service
  • Computer experience mandatory
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care
  • Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Spanish a huge PLUS

Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in providing accurate, timely, appropriate, and compliant pharmacy services as per local/federal regulations and company policies and procedures
  • Enter patient data and prescription information accurately and efficiently
  • Provide compassionate and attentive customer service
  • Answer telephones expediently and courteously
  • Operate POS and ring sales accurately
  • Demonstrate proficiency, sensitivity, and a sense of urgency during all phone and on-site interactions
  • Complete tasks in an organized, accurate and efficient manner
  • Think and act proactively
  • Demonstrate the utmost professionalism at all times
  • Other job duties as assigned
