About The Position

Pharmacy Technician for Providence Credena Specialty Pharmacy in Southwest Portland/Tigard, OR. Full-Time/Day Shift Performs all typical duties of a retail. mail order, specialty pharmacy staff technician as defined by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy and local pharmacy drug outlet procedures. Fills physician orders for patient medications under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision. Communicate with and service the needs of the Pharmacy clientele. Has advanced knowledge and skills in one or more specialty areas in the pharmacy. Requirements

  • Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire or Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire.
  • Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire.
  • In compliance with the Providence Health and Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 Background Checks, a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties upon hire.
  • 1 year of experience (2080 hours) of pharmacy practice
  • 1 year of Customer Service
  • 1 year for internal promotion candidate must be competent in all responsibilities of an Associate Pharmacy Technician: (external candidates are required to have the equivalent experience)
