About The Position

The specialty medication prescribing service will drive specialty medication management, working with specialty pharmacy operations and ambulatory clinic pharmacists in specialty care to support multiple locations. The centralized service, consisting of pharmacists and a pharmacy technician, will focus on optimizing medication strategies and enhancing patient outcomes across our health system. Successful candidates will need to travel to on-site clinic locations.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Registered Pharmacy Tech in the state in which the employee works as required by state law PHARMTECH:WA
Knowledge of the standards, techniques and tools relating to pharmaceutical patient care.
Knowledge of the regulatory requirements applicable to pharmaceutical patient care.
Knowledge of mathematical functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, basic algebra and calculations.
Ability to mix oral powders and compounded drugs if llowed by state law.
Ability to use office equipment and automated systems/applications/software at an acceptable level.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by the duties of the position
