Connecting. Growing together. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll support the onsite pharmacist to prepare prescription orders for facilities. You'll be responsible for ensuring that pharmacy standards are maintained, policies are carried out and objectives are accomplished. The ideal candidate is a people person who enjoys troubleshooting and resolving problems and is dedicated to helping customers. This onsite position is located at our pharmacy in Marlborough, MA. The hours are for the evening shift, Monday-Friday: 3:30pm-12:00am, rotating weekends and holidays. Weekend and holiday hours are 7:30am-6:00pm. Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Massachusetts
  • Able to work the evening shift (Monday-Friday: 3:30pm-12:00am), rotating weekends and holidays (weekend and holiday hours are 7:30am-6:00pm)

Nice To Haves

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • 1+ year of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
  • 1+ year of long-term care pharmacy experience

Responsibilities

  • Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
  • Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
  • Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
  • Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
