Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Washington Pharmacy Technician License
  • Minimum of one year (> 2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and current PTCB certification - OR - 2 years (>4160 hours) hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework/Training: Graduation from a Pharmacy Tech program approved by the WA State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Specialty certification (e.g. ACPE approved sterile compounding certification) where applicable by role and state
  • Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR).
