Pharmacy Technician - Full Time - Callen Lorde Brooklyn VytlOne has an EXCITING, opening for an experienced, full-time, customer focused Pharmacy Technician. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to work within Maxor National Pharmacy Services network of managed clinic-based, in-house pharmacies at the Callen Lorde location in Brooklyn, NY. This full time position offers a highly competitive hourly rate of pay, a generous healthcare benefits plan participation, and 401 (K) Plan with company match. Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED required
  • Current PTCB Certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months (VytlOne will Assist)
  • 2+ years retail pharmacy experience; experience in HIV/AIDS clinical setting preferred.
  • Computer experience mandatory
  • Proven track record of exemplary customer service
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Spanish speaking skills a plus
  • Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and take prescription orders
  • Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
  • Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
  • Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
  • Answer the phone
  • Input customer information into the computer system
