About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the London, Ohio area. This is an excellent short-term hospital assignment with a highly respected healthcare facility. If you are an experienced technician looking for a new opportunity, we would love to connect. Position Overview: Hospital setting Contract: 8–12 weeks, with potential extension Local candidates preferred; travel expenses may be considered for the right candidate Dress code: Black scrubs
Requirements
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license
- National certification preferred/required
- Strong Pyxis experience required
- Experience compounding hazardous and non-hazardous medications
- Hospital experience preferred
Nice To Haves
- EPIC experience a plus (not required)
Responsibilities
- Refilling and managing Pyxis automation systems
- Compounding hazardous and non-hazardous medications
- Supporting pharmacy operations and order workflow
- Working collaboratively with pharmacy staff and hospital team
