About The Position

The center also provides specialized youth services for ages 12–18, including academic support and family involvement. Westpark Springs focuses on dual diagnosis expertise, treating individuals with both mental health and substance use disorders through evidence-based therapies. Supportive services such as case management, group and family therapy, medication management, and discharge planning are provided to ensure continuity of care. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy in good standing
  • PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Pharmacy Intern
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

  • Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist.
  • Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
  • Fills medication carts on a daily basis.
  • Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
  • Repackages bulk medications.
