About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in medication preparation, distribution, and pharmacy operations in a fast-paced inpatient and/or community setting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year recent experience (3 years or certification preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician Registration (Required)
- PTCB Certification (Preferred/Required based on experience)
Responsibilities
- Prepare, package, label, and deliver medications (including controlled substances as applicable)
- Manage inventory, process orders, returns, and stock medications
- Perform billing, documentation, and administrative tasks
- Enter medication orders (MAR) and assist with reconciliation
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Provide customer service and support pharmacy operations
- Assist with sterile compounding/chemotherapy (if certified)
- Train/orient staff and support retail pharmacy functions if needed
