Job Description I. JOB SUMMARY Pharmacy technicians at LMH Health support pharmacists with the timely, accurate preparation and distribution of medications while meeting regulatory requirements and providing high quality customer service. Technicians eligible for promotion must demonstrate the ability to collaborate and problem solve with all members of the pharmacy team. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position. II. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Inpatient Assist health care providers and patients in person or via phone by responding to questions or requests and triaging appropriate inquiries to the pharmacist Maintain pharmacy inventory according to system procedures Ensure accurate and timely delivery of medications to patient care areas Prepare sterile intravenous compounds and maintain clean room according to regulatory requirements Package medications with a barcode for accurate distribution in automated dispensing cabinets and upon administration to patient Manage the inventory of automated dispensing cabinets Maintain assigned inspection area according to The Joint Commission regulations HSP Assist health care providers and patients in person or via phone by completing register transactions, responding to questions, and triaging appropriate inquiries to the pharmacist. Competent in filling and data entry roles III. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Required High school diploma or equivalent Pharmacy Technician Registration with Kansas Board of Pharmacy Plan to complete national certification as set forth in the Kansas Board of Pharmacy regulations Preferred Prior Pharmacy Tech experience Pharmacy Technician Certification Our Cultural Beliefs People First Integrity Matters Better Together At LMH Health, we value inclusion and diversity.
