How you’ll contribute A Pharmacy Technician who excels in this role: Provide distributive pharmacy services and support for the registered pharmacist, including medication preparation, dispensing support, inventory control, and related clerical tasks. Refill and maintain automated dispensing system. Fill medication carts daily, Prepare orders and maintains pharmacy inventory. Repackages bulk medications as needed. Compounds sterile and hazardous products per established procedures. Maintain drug inventory, including purchases, returns, restocking, stock rotation, backorders, recalls, shortages, and loan/borrow processes. Participate in performance improvement and required education. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Medication reconciliation. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered with the state pharmacy board.
  • PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician.
