About The Position

Requirements

Must Have High School Diploma or GED
Current Pharmacy Technician license with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy (NCBOP)
At least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate basic math
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Physical ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

National Certification (PTCB)
Experience in an FQHC or community/public health setting
Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities

Accurately interpret, process, and fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients and answering medication-related inquiries
Handle prescription and over-the-counter medication dispensing with strong attention to detail
Manage inventory, including audits and ordering supplies as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace
Utilize pharmacy systems and insurance claims software effectively
Support pharmacists to ensure smooth workflow and high standards of care
